Studio
City,
California
- At a press
conference
luncheon
hosted at the
historic CBS
Studio Center
by Audio Line
Source, LLP of
New Orleans,
top industry
journalist and
product
reviewers from
key audio and
home theater
enthusiasts
magazines
gathered for a
high level
demonstration
of Richard
Gray’s Power
Company, the
name of a
product from
Audio Line
Source, a
partnership,
who claims
their product
to be so
powerful they’ve
named it a
company. The
RGPC product
was chosen to
be included in
one of the
most
prestigious
high-end audio
systems ever
assembled
aimed as an
educating
bridge between
the audiophile
community and
professional
recording
producers and
engineers. The
Reference
Playback Suite
at CBS Studio
Center,
situated in
the heart of
the studio, is
the brainchild
of visionary,
Producer
Jeffrey Allen
made possible
in part by the
ongoing
technical
support from
audio design
specialist,
Gary Brashear
of Sound
Sensations
Audio. The
Reference
Playback suite
evolved as a
result of a
strong
relationship
between
Jeffrey Allen
and CBS Studio
Center
President,
Michael L.
Klausman.
The
playback suite
is fed by a
massive power
transformer,
which provides
ultra-clean
power coming
into the room.
Ten Richard
Gray’s Power
Companys units
have been
installed to
quench the
reflected back
emf noise
generated by
the components
themselves. It
is due to RGPC’s
"electronic
fly-wheel
effect"
that they
supply a low
impedance
source of high
current on
demand to
power all
components in
the system
including the
high-powered
amplifiers.
To
prove the
company’s
claim that
Richard Gray’s
Power Company
indeed stores
and releases
instantaneous
energy on
demand. The
journalists
were shown
"The
Edison
Test"
described as
follows: A
110-volt light
bulb was
attached to
two 6-volt
lantern
batteries.
Since the
source of
energy was not
110-volts the
light bulb
would not
light.
Incrementally
one at a time,
three Richard
Gray’s Power
Companys was
then plugged
in parallel to
the circuit. A
doorbell was
set up to
momentarily
disconnect the
batteries from
the light
bulb, and it
was only then
that the light
bulb would
flicker. This
indicates that
the core of
the Richard
Gray’s Power
Company would
store and
release
sufficient
energy to
overcome the
resistance of
the cold light
bulb filament
in order to
light the
light bulb. In
order to
demonstrate
the
effectiveness
of linking
additional
RGPCs to a
system, the
second RGPC
was added to
the circuit
causing the
light bulb to
flicker more
brightly.
Additionally,
with three
RGPCs in the
circuit it
flickered even
more brightly.
The
demonstration
was conducted
on a simple DC
circuit, as it
is it is very
difficult to
assemble a
digital
oscilloscope
and a sine
wave
generator. One
only has to
hear the
empirical
evidence of
multiple RGPCs
in the
high-end audio
system at CBS
Center
Listening room
to fully
appreciate
what RGPC
technology
does in an AC
circuit.
Richard
Gray’s Power
Company
provides High
Definition
Television and
Home Theater
with more
vibrant
colors, better
black level
detail in all
video formats
for increased
front-to-back
dimensionality,
and reduces
video noise
generated by
line
multipliers
and related
digital and
analog
components,
and may be
used with the
largest
amplifiers and
powered
subwoofers.
