Sonus
Faber, the origin for many imitations,
revived its original minimonitor loudspeaker
line. The first in the new
Vintage series was the Minima Vintage. There
was another stand mounted loudspeaker
cheekily named Toy (photo above) which Sonus Faber decided to
clad in real leather.

A first
integrated amp made by daRTzeel (isn't there
something from a lizard in the name?). Their
is only three silicon junctions in the signal
path before entering into the power stage. A healthy 130
watts per output with an 8 Ohm
load. Nice.

Arcam
rearranged its product line. All stereo
components are removed from the DiVA
(Digital Audio and Video) line and now
appear in FMJ guise (Full Metal Jacket) with
improved casework, additional damping and
revised schematics.

Dynaudio
debuted a new affordable speaker line.
Excite models replace the Audience line
which have been in production in slightly
different interations since 1990.

This turntable from a Bavarian designer Dr.
Feickert has a S-shaped tonearm installed.
The tonearm is inexpensive (about 600 )
and is imported from Japan.
