Here's the
English-made Cygnis loudspeaker from
Revolver that caught my ear in Munich back
in '08. Our own Carlos Sanchez reviewed the
Cygnis (here)
after I gave it a recent listen and
concluded it as a seriously overlooked
product and worthy of my
Publisher's Choice! for 2009.
Well, it doesn't seem as though it will be
in the shadows for much longer now that May
Audio Marketing is now overseeing all US
sales and distribution. Bravo

I'm always
left dumbfounded and left scratching my wig
after hearing the Crystal Cable Arabesque
loudspeaker. They simply defy conventional
wisdom in that they shouldn't sound as good
as they do... time and again (because it's
made of glass perhaps?). I wonder what other
manufacturers would have to say about its
performance much less than its built from a
non-resonant type glass. One thing's certain
and that is: no matter the source or place,
this loudspeaker delivers the good in ways
that just leaves me speechless.

French
manufacturer Waterfall Audio's Diamond Glass
loudspeaker ($54k) is yet another new
high-end audio product that is composed of a
glass. Boasting custom built mid/bass Atohm
drivers sheathed in Nappa leather, a down
firing 8 1/2" woofer and a unique glass horn
tweeter.
